By accessing or using Best Farm Deals, you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, Listing Rules and Prohibited Items Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the website.

1. About Best Farm Deals

Best Farm Deals is an online marketplace that allows private sellers, farms, equipment dealers and other businesses to advertise farm equipment and communicate with potential buyers.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, Best Farm Deals:

Does not own equipment listed by third parties
Is not the buyer or seller in a transaction
Does not inspect, test, certify or appraise listed equipment
Does not guarantee the identity of users
Does not guarantee that a listing is accurate or legitimate
Does not guarantee that a transaction will be completed
Does not normally collect or hold equipment purchase payments
Does not provide escrow services
Does not provide legal, financial, mechanical or insurance advice

Transactions are arranged directly between buyers and sellers.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use Best Farm Deals.

You may not use the website if:

5. Listings

Sellers are solely responsible for their listings.

Each listing must:

Describe genuine equipment available for sale
Use accurate information
Show the correct price and currency
Disclose known defects or material damage
Use photographs the seller is authorized to use
State the correct equipment location
Be placed in an appropriate category
Comply with applicable laws
Follow the Listing Rules and Prohibited Items Policy

Sellers must update or remove listings when equipment is sold or no longer available.

Listings must not contain claims that are materially false or misleading. Canadian competition law prohibits false or misleading representations, including misleading pricing and product claims.

6. Pricing and Fees

Unless clearly stated otherwise, listing prices should be shown in Canadian dollars.

Sellers must not:

Use a false price to attract inquiries
Advertise equipment for $0 unless it is genuinely free
Advertise an unavailable price
Conceal mandatory dealer or administrative fees
Use false sale prices or invented regular prices
Misrepresent a monthly payment as the full purchase price

When a dealer or business advertises equipment, mandatory charges should be disclosed clearly. Government-imposed taxes may be identified separately where appropriate.

Claims involving regular prices, discounts or savings must be genuine and supportable. The Competition Bureau warns against invented regular prices, false discounts and unattainable advertised prices.

Any applicable fee should be shown before purchase.

Paying a fee does not guarantee a sale or inquiry

7. Equipment Transactions

8. No Warranty Regarding Listings

Listings are provided by users.

Best Farm Deals does not warrant that:

Listings are accurate or complete
Equipment exists
Equipment is available
Photographs show the actual equipment
A seller owns the equipment
Equipment is free from liens
Equipment is safe or suitable
Serial numbers are accurate
A stated warranty is valid
A seller will complete the transaction
A buyer will make payment

Any approval or moderation of a listing is for marketplace administration only and is not an inspection, certification or endorsement.

9. Inspections and Due Diligence

Buyers are responsible for conducting their own investigation.

Before buying, buyers should consider:

Inspecting the equipment
Testing it where safe and practical
Hiring a qualified mechanic
Confirming serial numbers
Reviewing maintenance records
Verifying the seller’s identity
Confirming ownership
Conducting lien searches
Reviewing transportation requirements

The amount the user paid directly to Best Farm Deals during the preceding 12 months, or
CAD $100

23. Account Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the website at any time.

Best Farm Deals may restrict, suspend or terminate an account when we reasonably believe that a user:

Created legal or security risk
Posted fraudulent or prohibited content
Abused another user
Failed to pay website fees
Attempted to bypass restrictions

Following termination:
